At BigTranslator, we keep things simple. We only collect what we need to translate your documents and deliver them to you.
What we collect
- Your email address (provided through Stripe at checkout)
- The PDF documents you upload for translation
How we use it
We use your information solely to process your translations and send you redemption links and translated document delivery emails. That's it.
Document handling
Your PDFs are processed in isolated containers. Translated documents are made available for download via a secure link, then automatically deleted from our servers. We do not retain customer documents permanently.
We do NOT use your uploaded documents to train AI models.
Payment processing
All payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, handle, or store credit card information. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.
We use Resend to send transactional emails — your redemption link after purchase and your translated document delivery email. We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional content.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies, only what is needed for the site to function. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies.
Third parties
We work with the following service providers:
- Anthropic — Claude AI powers our translations
- Stripe — handles all payment processing
- Resend — delivers our transactional emails
Data deletion
You can request deletion of any data we hold by emailing james@bigtranslator.net. We'll process your request promptly.
