Each PDF spends one unused paid translation. There is no free translation. Paid per document: $6.99 up to 100 pages, $19.99 up to 250 pages, $49.99 up to 1000 pages. Does not translate scanned-page PDFs. Does not convert a PDF into Excel or any other format. Password-protected PDFs that need a password just to open are not supported. A target language the PDF writer cannot render is refused before a paid translation is used.

How a PDF gets translated

  1. You create a BigTranslator account on this site and confirm the email from that inbox. You then buy a translation with that email. Checkout is the same Stripe payment the website already uses.
  2. In ChatGPT you ask to translate a PDF and connect the account. ChatGPT sends the PDF to this app.
  3. The app finds the unused paid translation for that email and calls the website's POST /api/translate with mode: "pdf" and that checkout session.
  4. The existing pipeline reads the PDF, translates it, and rebuilds the PDF. The file is emailed to the account, and the app can hand back a short-lived download link when the job is finished.

What this app does not do

  • It does not translate scanned-page PDFs. The product does not offer OCR translation.
  • It does not convert a PDF into Excel or any other format.
  • It does not translate a PDF with no account and no paid translation.
